Hivello at Paris Blockchain Week 2025: Our Highlights & Takeaways
Animoca Brands leads investment into Hivello alongside Taisu Ventures, NGC, Blockchange and Contango. Getting to Paris came with a few hiccups, but we made it. After a drop-off at the Airbnb, we headed straight to the Carrousel du Louvre to set up our booth. With our demos running, merch on display, and plenty of energy to go around, we quickly got into the swing of things — meeting booth neighbors, chatting with attendees, and explaining what Hivello is all about.
Day 2 was a bit quieter, as many headed to side events across the city. While part of our team explored a few of those gatherings, the rest stayed at the booth to hold down the fort. One of the best parts of the day? Meeting a few of our own community members — always a great moment to hear feedback face-to-face.
Day 3 turned out to be the busiest. We had quite the traffic at the booth, chatted with potential partners, connected with a number of VCs, and handed out every piece of Hivello merch. Even as the event wrapped up, people were still coming by with questions and interest — a strong finish to a productive week.
Our Takeaway: DePIN Is Gaining Traction — But There’s Work To Do
One of the biggest takeaways from PBW 2025? While more people had heard of DePIN, most only knew what the acronym stood for — not what it really means or how it can benefit them. That gave us a great opportunity to educate attendees, share our perspective, and showcase how Hivello makes DePIN accessible for everyday users.
It was also clear that interest is growing. People were genuinely curious about how they could participate, what rewards looked like, and how Hivello makes contributing to decentralized infrastructure easy, seamless, and rewarding.
We met attendees from all over the world — many of whom had traveled far and wide to be part of the event. The energy was amazing, the conversations were meaningful, and we’re proud to have helped push the DePIN narrative forward in Paris.
