Hivello Airdrop #2 - Official Details
From the very beginning, our mission has been simple: make decentralized infrastructure accessible to everyone and reward those who help build it. One of the core tools we use to bring people into the ecosystem (and reward them for early participation) is our airdrop program.

People hear “airdrop” and think “free tokens”, however in our case, this was never just about free tokens. At its core, our airdrop has always been supposed to reward for real contribution, not opportunism.
Why Airdrops Matter (When Done Right)
Airdrops have played a major role in onboarding users into crypto and Web3. But they’ve also earned a reputation for being exploited. In crypto there are always actors who will try to game the system, and then disappear once they get their rewards.
Our vision for airdrops was, and still is, about identifying people who:
- Believe in the mission of decentralized infrastructure
- Show up consistently and contribute real uptime to our DePIN Partner networks
- Stick around for the long term and help others do the same
These are the users we want to support and grow with. These are the early adopters who understand we are in Beta and become ambassadors anyway, and that’s exactly who our airdrop is meant to reward.
The Mechanics: How it is going to work
- 50,000,000 Tokens Airdropped
- Users will accrue Airdrop Points between now and snapshot date (21st August).
- 225 pts per day, 10,000 pts for a referral who runs an honest node for > 30 days, 5,000 pts if you connect your Discord to your Hivello app.
- Snapshot will be taken 21st of August.
- A multiplier will be applied based on contribution of resources to the Hivello network as a Hivello Node Runner.
- Lots of uptime, but no resources contributed? Zero HVLO will be airdropped.
- Lots of uptime and lots of resources contributed, your airdrop points will be multiplied by a participation level multiplier
- Lots of resources and uptime contributed AND you’ve been really active in the community and achieved a higher role? An additional multiplier on your airdrop points will be unlocked.
- Each person’s individual pts:HVLO ratios will be calculated and their share of the airdrop pool will be delegated.
- Airdrop will happen shortly afterwards. Exact dates will not be announced to hedge against 3rd party market manipulation.
What We’re Looking For: Loyalty & Uptime
As we prepare for the 2nd release of airdrop tokens, we’re doubling down on the behaviors that truly matter:
- High Node Uptime: Those who keep their nodes online and contributing resources consistently
- Loyalty: Users who stick with the Hivello app and aren’t just farming short-term rewards
- Community Engagement: Referring new users, providing feedback, or simply helping others
- Positive Behavior: No shortcuts, no gaming, just real participation These are the activity types that help Hivello, and DePIN grow steadily over time.
What We’re NOT Looking For
To be clear: if you’re here to game the system, this airdrop isn’t for you, and you won’t be rewarded.
- We will not reward users who spin up fake or non-functional nodes
- We will not reward those who buy/sell access to boost accounts
- We will not reward manipulative or dishonest activity We’re building an ecosystem that rewards authenticity. Not clever workarounds.
